The Rotary Community Peace Park is dedicated at the Burton Recreation Center
The Rotary Community Peace Park was a collaboration between the Rotary Club of Rohnert Park-Cotati, the Rotary Club of Rancho Cotati, the City of Rohnert Park and Stearns Home Loans, as well as several other businesses and community volunteers.

The park includes a peace pole with "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in 8 languages and braille, markers throughout the park with peace quotes from notable world figures, 3 olive trees - one of which was dedicated by Stearns Home Loans to commemorate peace and to honor the fire survivors of the 2017 Sonoma County wildfires and finally a Hibakujumoko tree which was germinated from seeds of trees that survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.  All of these items are spread throughout a park of sensory plants and a seating area around the peace pole.
